The CASØ 701 dining table is made of veneered oak with solid legs and is designed by Steffensen & Würtz. A special feature of this table is the construction where the legs are pulled out when the table is extended. Under the tabletop there is a magazine for storing three extension plates, which are included with purchase and extend the table from 200 to 350 cm. Up to three more plates can be added (choose the size above), giving a full length of 500 cm. The extension plates measure 50 x 100 cm and have opposite grain direction.

Care instructions
Solid oak and oak veneer are natural materials: colour and grain change over time, a tabletop may arch slightly with the seasons, and small harmless cracks along the grain can appear.
- Wipe daily with a firmly wrung-out cloth; use a wood cleaner for stubborn stains.
- Sand rough spots lightly with fine sandpaper (never steel wool), always along the grain.
- Avoid hot or damp items directly on the wood, strong heat sources such as radiators and stoves, and airtight covers like oilcloth.
- Treat tabletops on both sides.
- White oiled oak: treat regularly with white-pigmented furniture oil.
